The Good Things About You ~ Abstract Impressions Card
This card was one of the three creations featured in my April Creative Card Class. I try and hold classes about three times a month and I always try to make cards that tingle the senses. This card is bright and bold and perfect for any recipient and certainly perfect for a card class.
This card features simple two-tone stamping using the Abstract Impressions stamp set. I was super happy when I learned that this stamp set carried over to our brand new catalog.
The colors featured in my card start with a Sahara Sand card base with a Basic Black mat frame. All my stamping is in Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. One of the highlights of my card is that we not only stamped the front of the card but we did the inside and the envelope for extra pop!!
The trick is to stamp off the first time and stamp full strength the second time with the detailed stamp. We did all around the card.
Another piece of the card, I love, is this ribbon. It is Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and it could even be dyed if you wanted. For my card, I simple tied it around the card with a big bow.
The only other embellishments used are:
- a scallop oval framelit
- an oval stitched shape framelit
- adhesive of your choice (I used Fast Fuse/Snail)
I hope you loved my simple yet stunning card today! I’ll be seeing you soon.
