Butterfly Gala Creative Class Card in Mint Macaron
This card is beautiful and one we created in my Creative Card Class in April. The Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo are perfect color combinations and really pop on this card with the Wink of Stella and Pearlized Doily.
This card shows off the Butterfly Gala Stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch.
Although they no longer sell them together but separate they are a MUST HAVE in any craft room.
Here’s How I made My Card:
I started with a half sheet of Mint Macaron Cardstock cut in the hot dog fold, 4.25″ x 11″ and scored in half at 5.5″.
I cut a piece of Whisper White at 3.5″ x 5.5″ and stamped my butterflies randomly in Tuxedo Black Momento ink. I then filled in their bodies with either the Mint or the Flirty Flamingo pink.
Before adhering it to the base I cut out a small piece of Flirty Flamingo from the Budding Blooms Die Set (brand new this year!), refer to photo, and placed it alongside the Whisper White, just peeking out a little. I love the unique cut it gave. Do you see it? I also attached a pearlized doily.
I then attached the Whisper White right onto my Mint Macaron base, added another quick butterfly I had created with the same idea on a scrap and then punched out, and finished with a single basic Pearl in the center.
I finished my card by decorating a single Mint Macaron butterfly in the center of the inside and by decorating the envelope to match!
I hope you have just fallen in love with this card. I seriously don’t know if I can give it away!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to see you soon!
