A little note Using The Winter Woods Stamp Set

A little note Using The Winter Woods Stamp Set

I love the soft card base with the pop of bold Rich Razzleberry coloring in this card. This card takes no time at all to make, let me tell you how:

I first decided on a Gray Granite cardstock measuring 4.25″ x 5.5″. I cut a mat in Rich Razzleberry at 5″ x 3.75″ and married it with a piece of Whisper White cardstock just a hair smaller on all sides so that the mat would be skinny but still visible.

For stamping on the Whisper White, I used my sponge dauber on the group of trees from Winter Woods. I started with Gray Granite ink at the base and used a Rich Razzleberry dauber for the leaves. It only takes minutes to apply the ink the way you want it.

I am using Winter Woods all week but really wanted to stay away from winter scenes and Christmas cards. This card is a little thinking of you card, and I used the sentiment: “a little note” from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.

When I went to attach my sentiment I realized my card needed another soft element and I instantly reached for my Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. I punched a piece of Gray Granite cardstock and married it up to my sentiment so that they matched perfectly.

To finish off my cute card, I tied a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed this simple, beautiful card.
