Simple Stamping Using Modern Heart

Simple Stamping Using Modern Heart

This Modern Heart card is for any stamper but when you are just learning how to stamp, simple stamping is the way to go.

These two cards are shown in Blackberry Bliss and Lovely Lipstick. For being a basic, stamp + ink + paper greeting card, I wanted bold beautiful colors.

After I choose the colors for my two cards I went to stamping and this is what I did:

I started with the cardstock color of my choice measuring 4.25″ x 5.5″. I cut it the hot dog length and scored it in half to create the base.

Next I took a piece of Whisper White and randomly stamped the large heart over and over. I used the coordinating ink for each card. I then took a piece of matching cardstock measuring 4.25″ x 1.5″ and adhered it across the top to add depth to the card.

Last, I used a row of basic rhinestones for a focal point.

For the inside of the card I used a sentiment and left it.

Sometimes the easiest cards are the best to send.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a terrific weekend.

xoxo,
