Fun Fold Facebook LIVE Using Garden Lane and Painted Harvest
Coffee Greetings, my Facebook LIVE, every Friday at 10am (est) was so much fun last week because I did a simple fun fold for my viewers.
Let me tell you what I did:
First, I took a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock measuring 5.5″ x 4.25″ and set it aside. I then took a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring (the hot dog fold) 3.75″ x 11″ and scored it on the long side at 2.5″ and 7.75″.
I cut up a couple pieces of DSP (designer series paper) measuring 3 x 3.5″ x 1 piece and 2 x 2.25″ x 1 piece, rounded the corners of both whisper white and designer series paper and adhered them together with liquid glue. I decided to use the Garden Lane DSP for this card. I love these greens! (Green is my favorite color!)
I then reached for my Mossy Meadow baker’s twine and wrapped it twice around the length of the whisper white long enough to allow for a bow and adhered it to the back of the whisper white. I then mounted the entire piece to the Mossy Meadow cardstock I had prepared.
Next, I wanted to decorate the front, so I reached for my Painted Harvest stamp set and created a lovely green sunflower using pear pizzazz, soft suede and a little early espresso for the center spots.
I quickly cut out two leaves from the Into the Woods die set: one in Copper and one in Mossy Meadow. I also cut two leaves in Pear Pizzazz from the Leaf Punch. I decided to adorn my sunflower with leaves! It seemed fitting.
I used a sentiment on the inside from Painted Harvest and stamped it in Mossy Meadow. The last thing to do was adhere my sunflower and leaf cluster to the front of my card, which I did with dimensionals.
This card turned out so cute. It was super easy to make which I like for my followers. This whole week I plan to focus on fun folds. What fun!
Before I close, I made a completely different card using the same concept. I wanted to show it off like I did on my LIVE. When you watch a live with me, I like to get your juices flowing. That’s what makes us creative.
This card is using the same idea and same pattern but with the Bird Ballard DSP and the Free as A Bird stamp set. The card base is Early Espresso and the mat is cut at 4.25″ x 5.25″. The mat is in Calypso Coral.
