Ride with Me Christmas in Bufflao Check

Ride with Me Christmas in Bufflao Check

Every week I get together with a friend and craft. It is our mommy time together while the kiddos are at school and we gab and craft and it is the ultimate in self-care.

I love the Ride with Me stamp set, in the annual catalog, and was featuring it in my weekly showcase on Facebook. I threw this card together so easily and here is how I did it.

First, I knew I wanted a buffalo check background and decided on Cherry cobbler cardstock for my card base. I cut my cardstock at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and scored it down the middle at 4-1/4″.

Stamping the Ride with Me truck was easy and I chose it driving down the road with the tree from the tree farm. We live on the same road as a Christmas tree farm and it is awesome every year seeing everyone strap their trees to their vehicles and drive. After coloring my truck and tree with my Stampin’ Blends, I die cut it out using the largest oval from the oval framelits.

I used the Sprig punch and punched out four sprigs in Mossy Meadow and made a little wreath bow and adhered a bow with the adorable Basic Black 3/8″ Scalloped Edge Ribbon.

The funnest part of my Christmas card is the hub caps. Do you notice what I did? I made them 3D by popping them out. This is an easy technique as you just stamp your truck one more time, color and cut out the pieces you want to make pop. I used mini dimensionals to adhere them to the truck!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed my card today! See you soon.

xoxo,
