I really love how this sweet and simple card came together. I used the new Press On stamp set to create this fun crumb cake background and the pop of pool party makes this a thank you card anyone would want to receive. Let me tell you how I did it.

My Color Palette

I wanted a coffee card so I stuck with early espresso and crumb cake (because I like my coffee with milk!) and pool party.

My Card Layout

When I started creating my background, I was going to use my Stamparatus and then changed my mind because lining the coffee cups up in an orderly fashion was super easy. The background came together quickly, but I needed a pop of color ~ so I colored in the hearts and all the polka dots on the cups with my dark pool party blends.

I then attached my background to a piece of pool party cardstock, 1/8″ bigger on all sides, and wrapped pool party sheer ribbon around it. I then attached it to my card using stampin’ seal.

I created my sentiment with pool party and early espresso and punch it with the lovely you pick a punch punch. I popped it up on dimensionals.

Lastly, I die cut a heart from the birds & more dies, in pool party, and attached it above the word ‘cup’!

My card base is cut in the hamburger fold, at 5.5″ x 8.5″ and scored down the middle in early espresso cardstock. The inside was left for writing with a piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 4″ x 5.25″.
