My Card Layout

My card layout ended up being super simple.

I started with a piece of early espresso card stock, cut in the hamburger fold at 5.5″ x 8.5″ and scored down the middle at 4.25″. I mounted a piece of whisper white cut at 5″ x 3.75″ on the inside and left it blank for writing.

For the front focal point, I took another piece of early espresso cardstock measuring 4″ x 5.25″ and ran it through my personal die cutting machine with the tasteful textures embossing folder. I mounted it flat to the card base with stampin’ seal.

Next, I cut a piece of patterned paper at 2-7/8″ x 3-3/8″ and a piece of smoky slate cardstock at 3″ x 3.5″. I mounted the pattern paper directly onto the early espresso in the middle, with seal. I took the smoky slate and ran it through my die cutting machine with the stitched leaves framelit of my choice. I then mounted it onto the pattern paper with dimensionals.

I finished my card with a sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set and a piece of copper metallic ribbon. Gorgeous!!
