NEW PRODUCT ~ Celebrate Sunflowers in Crumb Cake

NEW PRODUCT ~ Celebrate Sunflowers in Crumb Cake

I love getting my hands on new product and this is just my very first card using the new stamp set Celebrate Sunflowers. I can’t tell you much about this stamp set except that it does come in a bundle with matching dies. The new catalog goes LIVE on June 3rd, and this will be available for purchase.

Let me tell you about my card.

I started with a piece of crumb cake card stock measuring 5″ x 3.75″ and I randomly covered it with sunflowers. I then took my daffodil delight stampin’ blend and my pumpkin pie stampin’ blend and colored the petals of my sunflowers. I did this a couple of times to get the color saturated just right.

Next, I took my white stampin’ chalk marker and went over the petals again, giving some white too them.

White Stampin’ Chalk Marker #132133
Looks like chalk, but it’s permanent. Great for writing on chalkboard paper and dark cardstock.

The end result is perfection! Exactly what I was hoping for.

My Card Layout

My card base for this card is crumb cake cardstock, cut in the hamburger fold, measuring 5.5″ x 8.5″ and scored down the middle at 4.25″. I inserted a piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 5″ x 3.75″ on the inside and left it blank for writing.

I took my focal point and mounted it to a daffodil delight card mat, measuring 4″ x 5.25″ and wrapped a piece of Whisper White thick bakers twine around the middle and tied a bow.

I also attached my sentiment from the stamp set in crumb cake off to the right side.

This stamp set is going to be a must have for any crafter. I cannot wait to play around with it and once it goes live I can tell you so much more about it.

Thanks for stopping by!
